We believe that part of the success of any sailing program or club
is knowing
who’s who among the sailors that you can meet at any event, the dock or
right next to the after-race keg. We also want to keep everybody informed of
our members’ successes on different regattas on and off Lake Texoma.

Rod Favela
An expert in deck layouts and rigging systems, Rod not only races on Lake Texoma
but he is a permanent crewman on board grand-prix boats. He won Lakefest in 2005
and 2007, the Hobie 33 North American Championship, and multiple NOOD regattas.
Rod also has plenty of stories of sailing the leeward islands.
Duane Coker
Duane owns Habanero, a Hunter 35.5 that he campaigned successfully before joining
efforts to win the 2006 Hobie 33 North American and multiple J-24 regattas.
He was part of the crew that won the Chicago NOOD in 2007.
Juan Mauri
Juan is an international sailor with multiple National and International titles.
He started sailing Sunfish in his native Peru and from there moved up to
the Windmill class, J-24's, IMS Offshore regattas and then on to the World
Match Racing Circuit. Juan always makes himself available to provide advice
on boat handling, rig tuning and sail trim.
Bret Stewart
A dedicated bowman, two-time Hobie 33 North American champion, multiple J-24
regatta winner and dedicated Catalina 22 crew, Bret (a.k.a. The Wookie) runs
the bow aboard Predator (Farr 39). A teacher at heart and by trade, it is
not complicated to get him to teach your bowman the tricks of the "front-end".
Mike Naugher
Owner/driver of the 1D35. Mike’s sailing adventures go way back, but
what characterizes him and the crew of Coyote is their travel to regattas around
the USA. They are a permanent participant of the Chicago NOOD, Verve Cup and
the Harvest Moon Regatta.
Eduardo Wilkinson
We met Eduardo in 2000. Former owner of an Abbot 36 and current owner of an
Irwin 41, both named "Don Enrique". Eduardo and his crew won several
Texoma Sailing club regattas and he is always willing to let new crew members
get a ride for any sailing event on the lake.
David Woody
Woody is a longtime crew member of Coyote. When he is not sailing his parents’ Catalina
36, he is racing all the Texoma sailing events, plus Grand Prix events like
Key West and the Big Boat series.
